About this Event:

IIM is delighted to host this first in a series of Client Roundtable events: fostering in-depth client and interim interaction on situational needs.

Following on from our Solving Sector Disruption HE event earlier this year, this event provides advisory executive thinking to the client University as it begins the academic year in September.

BY INVITATION ONLY (previous related event attendees are prioritised).

Member VIP invitations for this bespoke and intimate roundtable are tailored to ensure a breadth of functional disciplines and public, private and not-for-profit interims join the client to discuss University transformation.

The Client Roundtable will develop situational analysis into a live strategic challenge or opportunity:

  • Using a structured methodology, discussion seeks new perspectives around the topic.
  • Participants are invited to consider related opportunities, known strengths, blind spots and areas where external insight could develop new thinking.
  • The session is practical, supportive and confidential, conducted in the spirit of a ‘non-executive’ or ‘independent’ input.
The Client Roundtable takes place onsite as the University welcomes its new students and will be followed by a tour of the University grounds and facilities.

Sector Context

UK universities, both public and private, face rapid, turbulent changes driven by financial insecurity, shifting political landscapes, intense competition, and necessary, fast-paced adjustments in teaching methods and technology.

The sector needs new thinking, new skills to help it navigate and deliver the changes required to thrive in this new VUCA world.
