In this webinar, Denise Raw and Jody Goldsworthy from IIM Affiliate New Street Consulting Group talk about the importance of managing change for Interims.
Most organisational change initiatives fail to fully deliver their stated objectives. Reasons range from failure to build a coalition around the vision, to lack of definition about future workforce requirements, to lack of skill (and sometimes will) in the leadership population to lead the change itself and often failure to recognise the emotional side of change.
How then, did we deliver dramatic change virtually overnight when the COVID-19 pandemic sparked an unprecedented crisis right across industry? We changed work communications, technological solutions, new processes, launched new products and services and new health solutions with vaccines developed in record time. Is it that we were forced into changing our behaviour? Did our collective fear act as a uniting catalyst? Or was it that we thought it was temporary?
Much of New Street Consulting Group’s work supports industry, not for profit organisations and the public sector to support new behaviours, deliver culture change and to build organisational capability. This webinar will consider the changing demands of organisational leaders, and the critical role that Interim leaders play in improving change outcomes, including preserving learnings and ‘keeps’ from change programmes they have lived through or led.
