In fairness, this is not strictly news but I thought it worth sharing as interims spend a lot of time on their own and adopting an independent stance when engaging with clients. Do take the 10 minutes or so to watch this 2015 TED talk about the research which is still ongoing today and consider how you go about your relationships. Maybe being a member of the IIM is about helping with building positive relationships that last. Maybe even beyond being an active interim. Enjoy the talk.
